The proposed site for the mentioned project is “Tutkabon” countryside in the north of Iran. Tutkabon / A city from Gilan, North of Iran, which has preserved its nature from the influence of human hands. A green bed that spreads among the Alborz mountains and includes the qualities of a native and pristine habitat. It includes a part of the ancient mountainous nature of Gilan, whose location requires to include more favorable weather and environmental conditions for living or staying in the scorching heat of the north of the country. The unspoiled nature of “Tutkabon” includes many summer resorts and the green and endless plains at the foothills of this mountainous city give a unique view to its nature.

About this project

Ecotourism / The prefix “ECO” has Greek roots and means environment or habitat. This concept evokes nature more than anything else. From a conceptual point of view, ecotourism is a responsible trip to natural areas with the aim of enjoying the nature and cultural features related to that area, which aims to preserve the environment and improve the lives of local people. What is doubly important in this growing industry is to create a living environment for tourists that meets the standards of ecotourism. Ecotourism residencies are designed in the local environment in compliance with the highest possible level of environmental standards and compatible with the local architecture, regional context and natural scenery, and at the same time, they create a bed with desirable qualities for tourists while maximizing interaction with the local community and paying attention to the climate. In the design of “Elysian” Villa, the goal is to provide the basic qualities and needs of human daily life on a smaller scale and at the same time with enough facilities to stay in nature to create a habitat for humans in the pristine bed of nature.
